NOVEMBER 5 : ONE YEAR UNDERSKY ANNIVERSARY @VOLT CLUB, THESSALONIKI

Undersky Collective finishes an active first year since their foundation and they introduce a new era for the collective's artists. An audiovisual show is coming to you on November 5th in Thessaloniki's famous Volt Club, presenting: Sun Of Selah (Vintage Dub, Undersky, UK), The Next (Stoke Audio, Paradise Lost, Amei:se, DE), Atsuko & Totoro Cheeba (Undersky, UK), UNCO (Pony Licks, GR), Imaginary Friend & 4T2 (Undersky, Jazzsteppa, Dubporn, Breathe), Scalade & Reamz (Undersky, UK), KI.ILL Project (Undersky, GR), Shinjou (Mechanoid Audio, Undersky, GR), Kay Month (Voltage Selector, GR), all in a unique audiovisual live show rolling over the sounds of Dubstep, 2Step, Future Garage/Funk, Minimal Techno, Electronica, Glitch and Ambient.

With this party Undersky presents their homonymous record label "Undersky Records", which will start releasing on November 14th with a free compilation riddled with music productions of : Sun Of Selah, TKR, The Next, Atsuko Cheeba, UNCO, Duckem, Imaginary Friend, Circo Inverso, Amatsu Mikaboshi, CODE:7023 and lots more.

Doors open at 23:00 and the damage will be 10euros (incl. beer), and many surprises and competitions will be happening during the event in Volt’s re-vamped Venue.

Undersky's Newest Family Members : Amatsu Mikaboshi

Amatsu Mikaboshi, a band from Kyoto of Japan, riddled by Amatsu Neko, a psychologist, expert in human behaviour and Karasu Mikaboshi, a graduate astrologist out from japan's famous N.A.O.J. Ofcourse Neko and Karasu are not their real names since those words mean : Cat and Crow in japanese, but they prefere to stay unnamed and masked, far away from the lights of media for obvious reasons relating with their jobs.

Undersky feel proud to use one of their masterpieces "Reflection", as the first track for our youtube channel's new theme series, wich will include one of your favorite artists following by the magnificent pictures that only the magical powers of universe can introduce to you by the lens of NASA's famous Spitzer Telescope. You can learn about all the galaxy districts and objects while listening to stunning music, always coming from Undersky. Have a taste of our first one :

OCTOMBER 08 : UNDERSKY SHOWCASE @VOLT, THESSALONIKI

One of Thessaloniki's finest venues which hosted more than 10 international artist within a year, including : Spectre(UK), Andrea Bertolini(IT), Siopis(DE) just a few to name, is proudly presenting a deep meditative night with 3 of Undersky's artists. Imaginary Friend, 4T2 and N.KI with Frank'O, will be performing live on October 8, spinning some extra 'hard to find' dubplates including a first look into Undersky's 1st forthcoming release at November 7, with the title "1st It Was Darkness, Then Came UNDERSKY!", including tracks by Sun Of Selah, The Next, TKR, Atsuko Cheeba, Duckem, UNCO, Circo Inverso, Pixels On Space, Shinjou, Scalade and more. We can't miss the huge support djs "Lois Mo" and "Rykvol" who will provide respectivelly the opening and closing the event. Doors Open at 23:00 and the entrance fee will be 5 euro, including your first beer.

Atsuko Cheeba? yeah...

Atsuko Cheeba, Undersky's latest galactic ninjah', is one of the oddest/mysterious artists of the collective, bringin' us the original sounds of UK's finest experimental and ambient electronic music, through his patience and love for what he does. Noone except the collective seems to know how he really looks like, or even if he's male or female. The only sign there is, it's a not so common triangle with his name under it. Undersky feel proud to support and be supported by Atsuko Cheeba, as we already signed for he's next releases. You will have the chance to hear the What Have We Become EP Live @ 1 Year Undersky Anniversary in Thessaloniki this November.

29,30 April and 1st of May, Imaginary Friend & 4T2, were performing at Endorphin Festival for year 2011, alongside 50 and more Electronic Music Artists such as : Damien Schneider, Ikkaku, Fresh Things First and more. Though rain screwed the fest days a bit, people showed maximum support, and respect to the artists and enviroment, composing a warm atmosphere of electronic senses. check more here.

ENDORPHIN FESTIVAL 2011!

ENDORPHIN FESTIVAL 2011.
- Endorphin Festival counts already 4 years since its first appearance when a group of Elassona's sub-prefectures were designed to hold a musical gathering in harmony with nature with background the music.
- The group gathered and started the first events in the county and in villages in order to make familiar the sound of Electro-Techno in the world, in places where access to such events was not so often. Grown up and slowly started its first steps, the group found refuge in the footsteps of Endorphin, where annualy, everybody presents its own "Sound". Due to the continuesly growing impact to people, the festival tries for its better organization.
- The Endorphin takes place every year on May 1 (this year 3 days: 29-30 April and 1 May) in a plane-tree area of "Hani Hatzigogou" located at the 65th km Larissa-Kozani, in the village Milea under the shadow of Olympus and under a bridge next to a river.
- Djs,Music Producers and Artists with background the electronic dance music, as well as others, participate volunteerily and support the idea behind Endorphin Festival.
- Organizers' target is, with the help of the municipality, to ensure a clean and pleasant landscaped area, offering space for free camping accommodation to those wishing to camp. Of course there is no fee to all the benefits of the festival.
- This year the festival in cooperation with "Voltage Selector" continues the pace of minimal, techno, deep house, electronica, progressive, etc. but is expected to fully satisfy both the visitors and the artists themselves as the organizers in association also and with the help of "Undersky Collective" in order to cover a large, if not the entire, spectrum of electronic music starting from genres such as: low tempo, trip hop, lounge, new jazz and is expected to surprise us with the futuristic sounds of : 2step, garage, grime and Dubstep.
- All money raised from donations will meet the needs of the festival, such as advertising, promotion, equipment, lighting and sound, and necessary staff for cleaning the area.

He started the RUDIMENTS, a label, in 2003. The RUDIMENTS has released varoius artists who are active both in and out of Japan like KINKA, JUZU a.k.a MOOCHY, COFFEE & CIGARETTES BAND, DJ KENSEI, DJ KIYO, BLASTHEAD, acca, ZEB, CHIMPBEAMS, AKOYAAFROBEAT and
HYDROPONIC SOUND SYSTEM. It sends out dance music, which is fusion of the roots music and electronics, that connects the past, the present and the future together based... on rooted music. It also releases cross-overed masterpiece based on breakbeats, dub, reggae, world music that has groove and covers various genres. Besides the label management, he works for "DISC SHOP ZERO" and is a staff of JUZU a.k.a MOOCHY's primary label, PROCEPTION CROSSPOINT. In April of 2011, in Harajuku, it is planned to open up a record store "GLOCAL RECORDS" which mainly deals with used records and Japanese artist's new masterpieces.

Afterparty : 20 Years Ninja Tune Anniversary w/The Bug feat. Flowdan @Block33, Thessaloniki.

The party was succsessfull with The Bug feat. Flowdan, Imaginary Friend, Booker and Tsaros on the scene.

Love Light Productions showed the people of Thessaloniki once again their superior interest in alternative electronic music in asociation with Breathe Records and Undersky Collective.

Naofumi Takahashi aka CODE7023 is an interactive producer and live acter from Japanese town Osaka. He's soul drenched electronic music started to pass through Asia to Europe. People enjoy his glitchy 8bit sounds as well as his productions with IIHD aka Hironobu Hagiwara and Imaginary Friend (exp. "Warped Moon" ). He really might be our "passcode" to the big bright room named "Eperimental Ambient with a taste of Glitch".

He was also related to YAMA a.k.a Sahib(AUDIO SUTRA SOUND),GregG(7evenbRecordings),JUZUa.k.aMoochy(Crosspoint),Fragment(Subenoana) and aggressively front acted scenes. The Bug's music draws influence from dancehall, noise, grime, and hip hop. More subtle influences include dubstep and the dubtronica and broken techno of Basic Channel and Pole.

The Bug's first album, Tapping The Conversation, was released in 1997 on the seminal Wordsound label. The album was conceived as an alternative soundtrack to the 1974 Francis Ford Coppola film The Conversation. In this incarnation The Bug consisted of Kevin Martin and DJ Vadim.

From 2001-2004 The Bug collaborated with UK reggae soundsystem veteran The Rootsman on a number of limited edition 7" singles, released on the Razor X label. These releases were characterised by their harsh, aggressive nature both musically and vocally (vocal artists including Jamaican MCs such as He-Man and Wayne Lonesome).

The Bug's second album, Pressure was released on Rephlex Records in 2003. It included a number of more ambient, dub-influenced tracks alongside the ragga-tinged onslaughts.
The Razor X singles were compiled on the Killing Sound album (along with newer material) which was released by Rephlex in 2006.

Bug projects have included collaborations with a number of singers and MCs including Cutty Ranks, Flow Dan, Warrior Queen and Ras B. In 2005 he collaborated with Mark Stewart and Keith Levene and has released records on Rephlex, Tigerbeat6 and Klien Records. The Bug produced some radio sessions, including a clash with Soundmurderer on John Peel and a 2006 Breezeblock session with 10 MCs.
In 2006, The Bug launched a monthly London-based reggae club night entitled BASH, in collaboration with dubstep producer Loefah. 2008 saw the release of London Zoo, the third full release from the project, to critical acclaim.
